Most of these sales will be swiped with less than 25% of the sales keyed.

Most Cards are not present at the time of sale. You or your customer (internet) manually keys in the information for the card.

With mo-to-io merchant accounts, merchants will process their consumers credit cards by manually keying in their cards through a terminal. These sales are typically orders that are received by phone, fax, and mail. With an internet merchant account, merchants will process their customer cards through their website. These sales are typically received through a secured gateway on the internet. By offering your customers the ease of processing their cards on your website you will, in a sense, be open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

 

 

Lodging and Hotels:
Most cards are present at the time of sale, a terminal reads full magnetic stripe, and signature is obtained. Incremental electronic authorization requests are permitted. Anticipated stay or rental time is included in authorization. Transaction date must equal the checkout.
